The main task of the Kore Noin society is to support cultural and educational work among the elderly, pensioners and labor veterans, as well as to help those in need.
The organization regularly holds events dedicated to the celebration of the New Year, March 8, Victory Day, Day of the Elderly, Dano and Chusok. Kim Moses Borisovich was the first chairman of the foundation, who made a significant contribution to raising funds for the construction of a Korean House. In 2001, the foundation received a Certificate granting the right to preferential attendance at all events held by ACC.
In addition, the foundation provides material and moral support to needy, lonely and sick members of the foundation. In 2005, the foundation provided assistance to the Almaty Nursing Home and boarding school No. 7. A charity concert was also organized in the House of Veterans of the War and the Labor Front together with artists of the State Korean Theater. The Kore Noin Society provides humanitarian assistance to the elderly and orphaned children on an ongoing basis.
